This cock Splendid wren shows the three stages of colour throughout the different seasons, firstly Spring/ Summer Lost colour for Autumn/winter. Now in June starting to colour up for the spring.

What seed do we feed Kakariki please
Joan Franklin we fed a good quality finch mix with some sunflower seed but if you want to breed them they need green food, eg. dandelion with roots, soaked seed, endive and other green food. If you have hot summers the young in the nest suffer from heat exhaustion like here in AU
If we decide to sell them how much would we sell them for
We are buying a pair of Kakariki off a lady and the lady said they laid eggs but her husband took them away what for we don’t know we can keep them in a cage and carry on breeding so we let the budgies fly in the aviary would that be ok
Kakarikis are prolific breeders and will breed at just 6 months old and continue nest after nest but will breed themselves out after 2 years so personally I would buy a young pair.
Can we put budgies and Kakariki together in one aviary
Joan Franklin it depends on size of aviary and how many you want to put together but both being non aggressive species and one pair of Kakarikis should be fine if you want to breed them

Vinu Cini no not known for their song and not domesticated so much, quite aggressive towards other finches in aviaries

Clown .562 they are Australian, native to Queensland and subspecies around New Guinea islands. Not sure about them available in US
